Steve's dream of the finished product
This is the focus of Al and Steve's energies and attentions in "Have You Driven a Ford Lately?", in Season 1 of Married... with Children; restoring a beat-up 1965 Ford Mustang that they bought off of one of Kelly's boyfriends. leaving their wives out in the cold and bitter in a variety of senses. The car was later confiscated by the police when it was revealed Kelly's boyfriend had stolen it, but Al and Steve were not charged. Although Steve accepts this bad fate, an enraged Al lashes out at the boyfriend and the police for his lost efforts restoring the car to mint condition.
