Ann Weldon (born October 2, 1938) appeared as the recently-deceased Aunt Maddie, a former bakery shop owner, who Al remembers from his childhood as making the finest Pumpkin Pies in Chicago in the episode of Married... with Children titled A Bundy Thanksgiving in Season 11.

Career[]

Born in Holdenville, OK, Ann and her siblings, which include veteran TV/film/state actor Charles Weldon, was also reared in nearby Wetumka, OK, as well as Bakersfield, CA, where her family relocated to when she was nine years old.

Her first professional acting job was at the Mo Mo Club in Sacramento, and from there she went to the Moulin Rouge in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ann's television credits are many, including: the ABC-TV sitcom series 9 to 5 the now classic ABC-TV miniseries Roots, the NBC-TV Harriet Tubman biopic Woman Called Moses, starring Cicely Tyson, where she played the part of Mama Ritt Ross; ABC-TV's The Robert Guillaume Show, Hunter the critically acclamied but short-ilved NBC-TV sitcom Frank's Place, which co-starred Tim and Daphne Maxwell Reid; Roc, ER, Martin, In The House, which co-starred LL Cool J and Debbie Allen, and Columbo.

Her many film acting credits include What's Cooking, with Alfre Woodard, the Mario Van Peebles directed Panther, and the Clint Eastwood directed Charlie Parker biopic Bird. She has also done commercial voice overs for: Nissan, Pacific Bell, Borghese, Boeing and McDonalds. [1]
