Beau Billingslea (born John Billingslea December 18, 1944) is an American actor and voice artist.
He appeared on Married... with Children as two different characters in Season 8 and Season 11.
Early Life[]
Born in South Carolina, he was raised in Meriden, Connecticut. During his high school and college years, he was a talented athlete, having lettered in football, basketball and baseball. Despite receiving an offer to play for the Kansas City Athletics (now known as the Oakland Athletics) baseball team, he instead chose to attend the University of Connecticut, playing football and becoming co-captain before graduating in 1966.
Although he had received an offer to play in the NFL, he had to forego the offer, due to his military commitment as he was in the ROTC. He was able to defer his military service in order to attend law school, eventually passing Connecticut's bar exam in 1969. During his military career, he served as an officer in the Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps as well as teaching criminal law.

Television and Film[]
Beginning in the late 1970s, he has appeared in a variety of television shows and films, including Who's the Boss?, Murphy Brown, Days of our Lives, Walker, Texas Ranger, JAG, NCIS, Star Trek Into Dark, Halloween: H20 and In the Army Now.
In many of his roles he played a police officer or detective in Hunter, L.A. Law, NYPD Blue, Leprechaun 6: Back 2 Tha Hood, City of Angels, and Boomtown. He noted in interviews that it may have been due to his military background.
Anime and Video Games[]
Billingslea is best known to anime fans as the English dubbed voice of Jet Black in the popular anime series, Cowboy Bebop and the follow up film, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. He has noted that it is one of his most favorite roles to date and has reunited with his cast mates from the series at various anime conventions throughout the years.
He can also be heard in other English dubbed anime such as Naruto: Shippuden, Argento Soma, Outlaw Star, Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, and Digimon (which like Married... with Children, also aired on FOX).
Additionally, he voiced characters in various video game such as Fallout 76, Red Dead Redemption II, Dynasty Warriors, and Saints Row: The Third.
Appearance on Married... with Children[]
In the Season 8 episode, "Banking on Marcy", he played the moderator for Kyoto National Bank's shareholders meeting in which a nervous Marcy D'Arcy is forced to deliver bad news about the bank's financial forecast.
In the Season 11 episode titled "A Bundy Thanksgiving", he played Reverend Hightower who presides over the funeral for Aunt Maddie.
