Beckie Mullen (March 5, 1965- July 26, 2020) was a former wrestler, cover model and B-movie actress.
She appeared on Married with Children as Yvonne in the Season 5 episode titled "Al... with Kelly".
Career[]
Wrestling[]
She was a member of the G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) organization and syndicated television series in the late 1980s. Her wrestling name for G.L.O.W. was Sally, the farmer's daughter.
Acting[]
As an actress, she appeared in television shows and films such as Hard Hunted, The Bikini Car Wash Company (1993), Forbidden Games (1995), Rude Awakening (1998), Voyeur (1999) and Black Scorpion (2001).
Music Videos[]
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, she appeared in several music videos including "Poundcake" by Van Halen, "Up All Night" by Slaughter, "Her Black Wings" by Danzig and "Sensible Shoes" by David Lee Roth.
Additionally, she appeared in the 1991 film, Rock Video Girls, which offers an intimate look at the women who work as video vixens. The video also features MWC guest stars including Kari Whitman and Kim Anderson.
Playboy[]
She also posed for Playboy in the December 1990 issue and January 1994 issue as part of a nationwide search for their 40th Anniversary Playmate, as well as the January/February 1991 issue of Playboy's Book of Lingerie. She remarked that she would have loved to show her grandchildren when she was 90 "see what Grandma used to look like".
Her Playboy prediction had an ironic twist, as Mullen passed well before her 90th birthday, and only briefly experienced grandparenthood.
Appearance on Married... with Children[]
Becky as the sexy Yvonne in the episode titled "Al...with Kelly".
She appeared in the Season 5 episode, "Al... with Kelly" as Yvonne, one of two girls that appears in Al Bundy's fantasy. She is portrayed as a wealthy businesswoman who spoils Al and is about to have sex with him before a sick Kelly Bundy wakes him up.
In another fantasy, after eventually finding his other fantasy girl, Yvette, in the same bedroom, the two women try to settle their differences by wrestling each other for Al's affection. Upon deciding that they both want Al to wrestle with them, he happily jumps in, only to be stopped by Kelly again.
Death[]
She died on July 26, 2020, at a hospital in Palm Springs, California. Her daughter, Brittani Rabay, revealed that her mother had been diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney, liver, and colon cancer in October 2019 and was not expected to live much longer. She was later cremated. [1][2]
Some sources had stated that she was born on July 30, 1963, and was nearly 57 years old at the time of her passing, but her mother and several other postings confirmed that was born in March 1965 and had already turned 55 years old when she had passed.[1][3][4]
Several of her former "G.L.O.W." co-stars posted on social media and offered their condolences. One of the former "G.L.O.W." wrestlers, Jeanne Basone, who played her rival "Hollywood" (and also appeared on MWC in the Season 4 episode, "You Gotta Know When to Fold 'Em (Part 2)") organized a fundraiser to help pay for Mullen's cremation and any remaining medical bills. The goal was exceeded and Basone personally delivered the check to Mullen's mother.[4][5]
She is survived by her daughter Brittani, her son, a grandchild, and her mother, Jackie.
