Beth is an actress and Kelly Bundy's rival after they compete for an acting role in the Season 9 episode of Married... with Children titled "Kelly Takes a Shot".

After Kelly comes home to complain about not getting another acting role, her brother Bud Bundy decides to mock her by saying she lacks any acting talent, leading her to break down in tears and run up the stairs. Amber, who was in the room with the siblings, becomes upset at Bud's cruelty and shames him for not supporting his sister. In an attempt to win Amber over and have sex with her once again, Bud later apologizes to Kelly, saying that he originally meant to tell Kelly that she is a talented actress, but lacks the skill to choose the roles that are better suited for her. He then tells her about a commercial audition for a fast food restaurant called Fryer Tucks.
Sometime later, Kelly reveals to Bud that she and Beth are the two finalist for the commercial. In order to win the role, she and Beth have to compete in an archery contest. She also notes that Beth is already skilled in archery, but Bud helps her train for the contest.
On the day of the contest, the two compete and show that their archery skills are nearly equal. In the final round, Kelly declares that she will shoot an apple off of Bud's head. Although he is completely opposed to the idea, Amber tells him that she finds it sexy that he would do such an act for his sister and then whispers into his ear, causing him to change his tune. After some hesitation, Kelly suddenly has a change of heart and decides not to shoot the apple from Bud's head, telling Fryer Tuck that the possible chance of injuring or killing Bud for a commercial role was not worth it.
After Kelly goes over to congratulate Beth, the smug Beth decides to mock Kelly's decision by telling her "Couldn't do it, could you?... Candy ass". Kelly then decides to prove Beth wrong by firing the arrow without looking, hitting the apple (and traumatizing Bud). Kelly looks over at the now bitter Beth before walking off while Fryer Tuck and the crowd continue to cheer for her.
