About Brenda[]

Brenda appears to be a sexy, blonde woman in her 30s. She wears a short purple dress and black jacket. She is unemployed, as she mentions that she has a 2:30pm job interview, and tells Peggy that she "dance[s] on tables for men near airports" (which would imply that she is a stripper by trade).

Background[]

In "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?", Brenda, the sexy new neighbor, drops by the Bundy Residence to introduce herself, as she recently moved into the house that belonged to the Thompsons across the street from the Bundys. Peggy greets her and notes that the Thompsons had just moved after the husband got a promotion at his fast food job. She then tells Brenda that she is welcome to stop by anytime and gossip with her about the neighborhood residence.

When Brenda reveals what the neighbors say of the Bundys, not realizing that she is in fact talking to the Bundys, reveals "They say the husband will steal your paper, stalk your pets and eat your garbage!" with Al responding "Hey, half a potato is not garbage!"

Brenda then reveals that the reason that she stopped by is that her couch is still in front of her house, but the moving men that she hired haven't arrived. She points out that she doesn't have a man in her life to help and that she has a job interview shortly (noting that she usually "dance[s] on tables for men near airports" as her job), she was wondering if they could watch the couch just until the moving men arrive.

As Al becomes infatuated with Brenda, he decides to offer his service and move it for her as it is his day off. She points out that it is a heavy couch, but then flirts in front of him and Peggy, as she notes that Al is a big, strong man. Peggy reluctantly agrees to let Brenda borrow Al to move the couch and Al has her lead the way, saying "After you, my rear... uh I mean my dear!". Peggy pulls Al aside to complain that he was too tired to fix the doorbell, but not tired enough to reject Brenda's flirtatious requests. He simply tells Peg no and tells Brenda, now posing flirtatiously by the door to lead the way and warns her that Peggy might get the idea to sit on Brenda's couch if they don't get going.

Sometime later, Al, now incredibly giddy, runs over to Peg and tells her that Brenda said that he was cute, believing that she likes him. But Peggy quickly insults him, saying that as his wife and his friend, she can confidently say that no one actually likes Al, and that Brenda merely saw him as cheap labor. Kelly comes in and reveals that she needs to "flirt [her] way up and down the block" as the neighborhood women were enamored by a strong handsome man. Peggy offers to join her and asks for more details, with Kelly pointing out that not much else was said outside of the guy was being ogled by the women as he moved a couch for a new neighbor across the street.

Puffed up now because of the admiration of Brenda, who thinks he's a "big stud", Al then starts actually taking showers, wearing cologne and designer clothes to work, gaining new found admiration from all types of women, particularly really sexy ones, who drop by not only to buy shoes, but to check him out, much to the disbelief of the family!
