The bar is first shown in the Season 8 episode, "Dances with Weezie". Al and Jefferson are excited to visit the bar on its opening night, but their wives, Peg and Marcy, reveal that they have other plans for them: they will accompany them to "The Jeffersons' Moving On Up" tour, as the women are huge fans of the show. The two eventually come up with a plan, where they will go with their wives, but as soon as the lights go out, they will sneak out and have Al's kids, Bud and Kelly, fill their seats.

Upon arriving at the bar, they quickly get out of their suits and gaze in wonder at the sports memorabilia and running into retired MLB players Ernie Banks and Johnny Bench, as well as retired NFL player Joe Namath, who is working as a bar keep. Later, they greet Officer Dan, who arrive with two fellow officers who also escaped from "The Jeffersons' Moving On Up" tour. He reveals that he would have been at the bar sooner, but his kid ran late to fill his seat.
