Charles Ardell Smith, stagename Charlie Dell (born October 31, 1943), is an American actor who has appeared in almost every genre of TV at some point in the last forty years, including Columbo, Trapper John MD, Desperate Housewives, The New Adventures of Superman and Two and Half Men. He is probably best known for his time on Evening Shade as Nub Oliver (1990-4). Charlie appears as Roy in the episodes "Poppy's By the Tree, Part I" and "Poppy's By the Tree, Part II" in Season 2 of MWC, and then again as Leslie Baum in the Season 9 episode "Shoeless Al".
