Charles Franklin "Chuck" LeFever (September 26, 1941 – August 5, 2009) was an actor and magician.
On Married... with Children, he played Al Bundy's friend and fellow Polk High Panthers teammate, Skippy in the Season 8 episode, "Hood 'n the Boyz" and Speedy, in the Season 9 episode, "Dud Bowl".
Biography[]
LeFever was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
He served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966 and spent much of his military service stationed in Japan. Through his hard work and dedication, he achieved the rate of (ETN3) Petty Officer 3rd Class. His rating was Electronic Technician. He received several awards including a Good Conduct Medal.
His primary occupation was as an Executive Manager, Consultant, Motivational Speaker, Actor and Magician.
Throughout his later years, He was an active member of the Society of American Magicians, International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Academy of Magical Arts, Inc. (Hollywood Magic Castle) and Toastmasters International as an Area Governor.
He was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
Career[]
According to IMDb, his only acting credits were his two appearances on Married... with Children. Though, he also had an uncredited appearance in the Season 9 episode, "A Man for No Seasons" as one of the NO MA'AM members.
He also had an uncredited appearance in the MWC spin-off, Vinnie & Bobby, as the construction worker sitting next to Mona Mullins in the debut episode, "Full Heap".
Besides television acting, he was also active with TROLL (Theater Repertoire of Our Lady of Lourdes), a not-for-profit community theater organization based out of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge, California.
Death[]
LeFever passed away on August 5, 2009 at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, California due to complications from liver disease.
A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge, California on August 17th. He was laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; his children, Marie (Jermaine), Jessica (Eric) and Christopher; his grandchildren Sydni and Abigail; his sister Yvonne and his brother Terrell.
