David Sederhom is an American actor who appeared twice on Married... with Children in different roles.
Early Life[]
Sederholm was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Harvard University in the early 1970s, originally choosing to major in Law. By his senior year, he had already changed his major twice. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
After graduation, he decided to do a brief stint with the Peace Corps to figure out what to do with his life. As he was preparing for an assignment with the Peace Corps in Micronesia, the corps' psychologist suggested that he try acting instead.
Despite feeling validated, at the age of 20 and with no prior acting lessons, he tried to make it big in New York City. Despite his attempts, he made no leeway in the acting world and eventually chose a more stable path in life by getting married and working a 9-to-5 office job with Exxon. Sometime later, his marriage ended and he chose to pursue acting once, taking formal acting lesson to improve his skills and seeing a psychologist to help him get past the blocks that stopped him from acting. Through therapy, he learned that he can't be happy if he is not acting full time and decided to quit his job at Exxon.
During a span of five years, he auditioned for close to 30 different roles on soap operas, but was not hired. Slowly, he began getting work as a day player. In the interim, he sold light bulbs door-to-door, drove a cab and worked in a health spa to support himself.
