Guys and Dolls

Guys and Dolls is the 14th episode of season 2 of Married... with Children, also the 27th overall episode in the series. Directed by Linda Day, and written by Sandy Sprung and Marcy Vosburgh, the episode premiered on FOX on January 10, 1988.

Synopsis

To curb Bud's destructive behavior after Bud gets in trouble for using a picture of Kelly in a bikini for a school project, Steve and Al try to get Bud to take up baseball card-collecting as a hobby, but the men get caught up in it and sell Marcy's collectible Barbie doll to get the money for some rare baseball cards.

Episode summary

Bud's tendency to tauntingly exploit his sister Kelly gets him into trouble serves is the impetus for Al trying to find him a new hobby for him, baseball card collecting. To curtail Bud's destructive behavior after he gets in trouble for using a picture of Kelly in a bikini for a school project, Steve and Al get Bud to take up baseball card-collecting; However, When Al and Steve get engrossed much more than the young Bud, they wind up stealing Marcy's Barbie doll, which is a rare collectors' item, in its original box, and selling it to fund their habit -- to get the money for some rare baseball cards!!
