Gerry is the husband to Kitty, who gets into a fight with Al Bundy after they get into a fight on the expressway, leading to an all out brawl between the two families, in the Season 5 episode, "We'll Follow the Sun".
He is played by actor Eric Menyuk.

During the Labor Day holiday, the Bundys are stuck on the freeway. To pass the time, Al decides to sing "The Cow Kicked Nelly" out loud. From a nearby car, Gerry tells Al to shut up, as he and his family are annoyed with the song. Seeing that it could lead to a potential fight, the rest of the Bundys join Al and sing "The Cow Kicked Nelly" out loud in the other family's direction, eventually causing Gerry to yell at them to shut up once more. When Al asks Gerry what would happen should he and family continue singing, Gerry threatens Al by telling him that he'll be "gumming 'The Cow Kicked Nelly'" if he doesn't stop.
Hearing that, the two men get out of their cars and Al immediately grabs Gerry by his throat and slams him onto the hood of the Bundy's car to choke him. The men's wives, Kitty and Peggy Bundy get out and try to stop their husbands, with Peg pointing out that they are in the middle of the expressway. Kitty tells Gerry that he has better things to do than to pick a fight with a moron. Peg becomes offended by Kitty's remark and confronts her asking who is she calling a moron. Kitty says that Al is the moron and proceeds to call Peg a "painted hussy", but is slapped across the face before finishing her sentence. Peg then copies Al and grabs Kitty by the throat, slamming her on the hood of her car to choke her.
The kids join in and fight for a few moments. Both sides eventually stop, as Peg points out that traffic is starting to move forward now. The families get back in their respective cars and start to drive, but only move a few inches before coming back to a standstill. Frustrated by the standstill, the families to decide to get out and resume their brawl. Kitty remains in the car and pleads with Gerry to stop, as he tells her that they can try to reason with one another. He tries to tell Al that they're both human and can talk their problems out, but Al immediately decks him upon seeing him. Kitty then screams in horror as Peg suddenly approaches her family's car and gets inside, violently choking Kitty once again.

Later, during Al's speech about Labor Day, Gerry can be seen getting out of the car and cheering as Al tells everyone to get out of their cars and take their vengeance out on the expressway. Moments later, Peg tells Al that the cars ahead of them are moving. Al then tells the group to stop and get back in their cars so they can all finally get to their destination. After Al's car suddenly has a flat tire and the rest of the family abandons him, as he pleads with the now angry mob for help, Gerry leads the group to attack Al. Gerry takes Al down from his car hood and holds him down as he about to hit him with a tire iron as the rest of the mob joins in.
