I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus is a 1953 Christmas song written by Tommie Connor and performed by Jimmy Boyd. The lyrics describe an incident where a young boy comes downstairs to see Santa Claus kissing the boy's mother. He debates about what to tell his dad, but is unaware that his dad is actually the Santa Claus he saw with his mother. It has been covered over the years by various recording artists, most notably the The Ronettes in 1963 as well as the Jackson 5 in 1970.
Appearance on MWC[]
It is briefly heard in the season 4 Christmas episode, "It's a Bundyful Life (Part 2)", when Norman Jablonksy arrives home and begins to sing the song.
Lyrics[]
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep
She thought that I was tucked up
In my bedroom fast asleep
Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep
She thought that I was tucked up
In my bedroom fast asleep
I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night
