Jade is a sexy, buxom recurring character who appears in four episodes of Married with Children during Seasons 2, 3, and 5. In each episode, she comes into Gary's Shoes & Accessories for Today's Woman and interacts with Al Bundy who becomes mesmerized by her.
Jade was played by actress and former Playboy Playmate/centerfold turned porn actress/adult model Teri Weigel.
Appearance[]
She appears to be a young, attractive woman in her 20s with long curly hair. She is typically seen wearing a matching sleeveless top and miniskirt. She alternates between a normal voice and a deep seductive voice when turned on by Al. It is implied that she is somewhat ditzy.
Background[]
In "The Great Escape", Al caresses her foot and stares at her legs, claiming that professionals in the shoe selling business do this to know how to deal with the customer. She eventually reveals that she is actually turned on. Suddenly, Peggy Bundy and the kids come in and sit directly across from Jade, ruining the mood and Al's chance at a once in a lifetime opportunity. She then storms out after Bud Bundy makes a suggestive comment.
In "Father Lode", she appears in Al's fantasy, coming into the shoe store to tell him that she can't stop dreaming about him. Even after he tells her that he's married, she reveals that she is still turned on, since it means that he is broken in. She then stands up and begins to take her top off in front of him before Steve Rhoades wakes him up. After Al goes to the backroom to start closing up early so he can buy a new car stereo, the real Jade walks in and takes a seat. Steve is forced to tell her that they are closing up. She then thinks that its rather odd that they are closing now, as other stores typically close when she is in the changing room. She shrugs and exits, just as Al comes back to the main area and reassures Steve that no one stops by the store at that time.
In "My Mom, the Mom", she enters the store asking Al for some money after she lost her purse. He gives her twenty dollars, as she tells him that she feels guilty asking for money. He then tries to help her figure out how she lost her purse. Bud pulls him aside and asks why did he get a lecture, and have to miss a day of school to spend the day working with Al after losing his jacket, but he gave her $20 without hesitation for losing her purse. As she gets up to look at the shoes and bends over, Al points out the exact reason why.
In "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?", she comes up to Al as number 57 after Peggy leaves the shoe store, frustrated by all the attention he is getting from women.
