Judy Carmen (March 14, 1963 - June 20, 2015) was an American actress and business owner.
On Married... with Children, she played Diane Graham, the daughter of the Waist-Away Diet Shake company president in the Season 9 episode, "The Naked and the Dead, but Mostly the Naked"
Early Life[]
Judy was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and went on to graduate from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Acting career[]
Judy's other TV series credits include Highway to Heaven and Johnny Bago. Judy also appeared in the films Cyber Bandits (1995), and Insanity (2005)
One of her more memorable roles was in a 1991 episode of the teen sitcom, Saved by the Bell titled "Date Auction". She played student Wendy Perks who wins a date with the popular Zach Morris during a "date auction" held at the school. But due to her weight, Zach deliberately makes excuses to avoid her. At the dance, he apologizes to her and offers to dance with her, but she rejects his offer, as she does not want his pity. The two finally share a dance at end. The episode also featured MWC guest stars Casper Van Dien and Patrick J. Dancy.
Business[]
In 1992, she started Creation Station Dance, a creative dance studio that specializes in movement based programs for children 16 months through 16 years of age. It differentiated itself from other dance studio in the world with the unique curriculum that she developed, which utilizes a proprietary syllabus, weekly themes, and lesson plans.
As of 2024, the studio is still in operation, with several locations across southern California, as well as in New York and Texas.
Death[]
She died on June 20, 2015 in Los Angeles, California from cancer. She was 52 years old.
