Mary-Pat Green (September 25, 1951 – September 9, 2024) was an American actor of stage and screen. She appeared in many movies and even more television series.
Appearance on Married... with Children[]
On Married... with Children, she played, Marge, a recurring shoe store customer who single catchphrase was "I need shoes!"
In the season 8 episode Scared Single she first appeared, marching into the shoe store and demanding "I need shoes!" Marge returned in season 9 Business Still Sucks (Part 2), with the same demand for shoes, even after the store was converted to a mens' shoe store. And in Shoeless Al Marge appeared as an employee of the bowling alley with a slight modification to her catchphrase, "You need shoes!"
In the last episode of season 8 Kelly Knows Something Mary-Pat played the character of Max, a contestant hopeful for a sports themed game show.

Green died from complications of Alzheimer's disease on September 9, 2024, at the age of 72.
She was listed in the "In Memoriam" section of the SAG-AFTRA Fall/Winter 2024 issue, along with MWC writer and producer Ellen L. Fogle as well as talk show host Phil Donahue, who was often mentioned during the early seasons of MWC. [1]
