Mr. Conner is a customer at Embassy Jewels.

History[]

Sharing his and his wife's first anniversary with Al and Peg, he is at the jewelry store to get his wife a picture frame as a present, as they had agreed to not spend too much money on their anniversary but instead save if for more important things.

When Al butts right in front of him to buy Peggy a watch, he is offended as he believes that each customer counts as much as the next. When Al notices the picture frame, he advises him to spend more money, despite what his wife said because "women live for presents" and there is "nothing more important than [their] anniversary because it is just between the two of [them]". Mr. Conner thinks that that is beautiful and proceeds to buy the watch Al was going to buy when his credit card gets rejected.
