Nicole Eggert (born January 13, 1972) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Jamie Powell on Charles in Charge and as Summer Quinn on Baywatch.
On Married... with Children she played Shannon, the girlfriend of Tom and (later Henry) in the Season 9 episode, "Enemies".
Career[]
From 1987 to 1990, Eggert played the oldest child, Jaime Powell on the syndicated sitcom, Charles in Charge (which featured several MWC staff including Marcy Vosburgh, Tony Singletary, Sandy Sprung, Pamela Eells, Zane Buzby. Christina Applegate also appeared in an episode during its first season)
In 1992, she played lifeguard Roberta "Summer" Quinn during season 3 and 4 of the syndicated series, Baywatch, appearing alongside fellow MWC guest star Pamela Anderson. She left the show in 1994 as she wanted to take a break from acting, but appeared in the 2003 reunion film, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
In 1995, she posed nude for the cover of Sugar Ray's debut album, Lemonade and Brownies. According to lead singer, Mark McGrath, Eggert agreed to pose for free, as he was dating her best friend at the time and that her picture helped the band get noticed and played on more stations across the U.S..
During the mid to late 2000s, she appeared in several reality tv shows such as The Real Gilligan's Island, Celebrity Fit Club and Scott Baio Is 45...and Single.
In 2014, she began to run an ice cream truck called Scoops, though as of 2017, it is no longer in business.
Personal Life[]
In 2018, she accused her Charles in Charge co-star, Scott Baio of molesting her while she was underage, starting at the age of 14. Baio denied all allegations, noting that the set had teachers, family members and other adults who would have noticed and put a stop to any sort of inappropriate behavior between him and Eggert. He also noted that the one time that they had sex was when she already over 18 years old.
In December 2023, she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. In August 2024, during the premier of the docuseries, After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, she mentioned that she had successfully completed chemotherapy and was trying to stay positive.
