Petra Verkaik (born November 4, 1966 in Los Angeles, California) is an American model, actress and entrepreneur. She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month December 1989.
She appeared on MWC in the season 10 episode, "Torch Song Duet" as Model #1.
Early Life[]
She was born in Los Angeles, California to a father from Holland and a mother from Bali, Indonesia. Until the third grade, she grew up speaking Dutch.
Career[]
With acting and modeling aspirations, she left for the East Coast in 1985. A year later, she came back to California and began taking acting lessons. While trying to get a headshot photo for her portfolio, a photographer noticed her beautiful features and forwarded her pictures to Playboy magazine. Playboy came calling back and offered her a chance to pose for the legendary magazine. She was originally not interested in posing nude, as she viewed those who did in a negative light.
She made an appearance in Great Playmate Hunt Special Edition in February 1989 before becoming Playmate of the Month December 1989. In 1997, she won the Playboy "Readers' Choice" Model of the year award. She appeared in numerous pictorials and videos including Wet and Wild California Girls and Sexy Lingerie. Although she retired from modeling for the company in 2003, she was brought back for another pictorial in 2010.
Her numerous appearances in Playboy have earned her the accolade "the most published woman in Playboy history".
She also became an entrepreneur by starting her own company called Pin-Up Girls in 1995.
She continues to model to this day via her own website, Petra Central.
In addition to modeling, she has acted in a few movies and television shows including Married...with Children, Love Potion No. 9 and Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV.
Appearance on MWC[]
As Model #1 posing with Flint Guccione
She appeared on MWC in the season 10 episode, "Torch Song Duet" as Model #1. As Al's jealousy becomes more apparent after professional athletes come by to meet Griff, the owner of Big 'Uns, Flint Guccione, comes to the store with Model #1 on his arm.
After he tells Al that Griff will be Big 'Uns' "Man of the Year", she joins the other models as they bring in a giant version of the cover featuring her and the other models posing with Griff. Al, being even more jealous now, daydreams that he replaced Griff on the cover and Model #1 assures Al that he is the Man of the Year before Model #2 tells him that he is the Man of the Century.
