Ricki was a sexy redhead woman who frequently visited Gary's Shoes just to see Al, who she becomes infatuated with in the Season 6 episode titled "So This is How Sinatra Felt".

She was played by controversial former PTL secretary/turned Playboy centerfold, actress and TV and radio personality Jessica Hahn.

About Ricki[]

After Peggy notices that Al has been coming home happy for the past three days, Al decides to let the family know the truth. He reveals that an attractive woman has been coming into the store for the past week and shamelessly flirted with him. Bud and Kelly just laugh when Al says that this attractive lady is a "Shoe Groupie". Peggy becomes upset and accuses Al of cheating, despite him telling her that he never would. She then asks the kids to break into the shoe store and spy on Al. She becomes more distraught when she hears Al has turned on the shower.

The next day, the kids arrive before Al and they hide behind the register. For the first five hours, they watch a depressed Al basically spend his time sitting on a chair with his face in his hands. By the sixth hour, he builds a shoe train and by the seventh hour, he deals with a fat woman named Leona. After insulting her in his usual way, he calls out for number 2 before realizing how sad his life is and being to cry.

As the kids are about to leave, realizing that Al is only cheating on death and not Peggy, Ricki comes into store with a pan full of muffins. She gleefully smiles at Al as he wolfs down her food and tells her that they are just pretty as her. She asks for something with a 4 inch heel which he happily does as he struts around the store to find it. After helping her put the shoe on, she complements him on his hands for being "so strong, yet so yielding", which he attributes to his years playing for the Polk High Panthers.

She then wants to hear him talk about shoes, revealing that she is turned on by his story about being a rookie shoe salesman in the winter of 1968 and how he was easily able to tell a woman her shoe sizer without a shoe sizer. The kids worry about telling Peggy about Ricki, especially when they see her stroking Al's chin.

After Kelly reveals to Peggy about Ricki, she becomes upset and continues to believe that Al is cheating. When confronted about this, he repeats that he is not cheating on her and that she is just doing some harmless flirting with him. He also tells her that he can't help it if someone like Ricki is turned on by a man whose physique has been shaped by getting up and down all day at the shoe store. After Marcy and Jefferson stop by, with Marcy also believing Al is a cheater, he tells everyone there that he is not a cheater and they are not worthy of looking at his tush as he heads upstairs.

As he gets ready to lay down, he quips that despite his claims that he would never cheat, after all these accusations, he has a good mind to go back to the store, eat more of Ricki's muffins and "...give her the best 30 seconds of her life!". As he starts to remove his necktie, he laments that "Opportunity never comes when you want it!", not realizing that the hand of a young female is emerging and helping him with his tie.

Unbeknownst to Al and Peg, Ricki had been waiting for him in the bedroom underneath the sheets. She says "Take me, shoeman!" causing him to scream and jump out of bed. She reveals that she was able to sneak in after finding a ladder that was outside Kelly's bedroom window. She then tells him that she's wearing nothing but a pair of high heels underneath the sheets, causing him to take a couple of quick peaks, before telling her that his house is a sex free house and will be so long as he lives. She tries to convince him to talk shoe to her again, but he quickly stops his story and reminds her that he's unfortunately married. He then tells her that she has to leave.

She insist that there is nothing he can do to make her leave. When he tries to scare her off by taking off his shoes, she's turned on even more! She then begs for him to take off his socks as well, much to his surprise. Downstairs, Peggy calls out to Al and tells him to his shoes back on, reminding him that there are people trying to breathe. Ricki points out that Peggy doesn't deserve a man like Al and insist that he try her on for size, causing him to panic and exit the room.

Al quickly runs downstairs and after a conversation, tells Peggy once again that he never has and never will cheat on her. As they are about to go upstairs, he is forced to stay downstairs and cuddle with Peggy, so she won't Ricki coming down the stairs. Peggy asks him if was even tempted a little bit to cheat on her with Ricki. A now sad Ricki makes it to bottom of the staircase and as Al looks back at her, she opens up her trench coat, revealing that she is wearing a black / purple lace basque before closing her coat. Al then begins to cry and lets out a high pitched "No!" in response to Peggy.

As Ricki makes her way to the door, Peggy reminds him that at his age, if he had slept with Ricki it would have been his last chance at a once in a lifetime opportunity. Al quickly takes one more look at Ricki. She pouts and waves goodbye to him as she quietly exits the house. He then pouts as he says "I know!", realizing what he just missed out on.
