Rochelle Swanson (born Rhoda Swanson December 4, 1963) is an American actress, model and script consultant.
On Married... with Children she played Woman #1 , one of two women who greet Ronald N. Michaels while on the set of Pease in a Pod in the Season 9 episode, "No Pot to Pease In".
Career[]
As an actress she appeared in several b-movie/softcore films in the early to mid 1990s such as Illicit Dreams, Night Fire (both featuring MWC guest star Shannon Tweed) and Hard Bounty. before moving on to more mainstream television shows such as The New Adventures of Lois and Clark, Sherman Oaks (with Nick Toth and Heather Elizabeth Parkhurst), Forever, Melrose Place and Meet Wally Sparks.
Personal Life[]
In February 1984, she was crowned "Miss San Diego", but was forced to relinquish her title a short time later after it was learned that she had posed in the January 1984 issue of Penthouse magazine, under the name "Nina Lee". [1]
In 2016, she posted on her Facebook page that 32 years after relinquishing her title, she was hoping to have her title reinstated. She noted that she had to change her name after relinquishing the title and besides acting, has been involved with several charities to help young women, military veterans and those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. She compared her situation to actress and singer Vanessa Williams, who, similarly, had to relinquish her title as Miss America 1983 after nude photos of her that were shot in 1982 appeared in Penthouse Magazine. She then concluded by pointing out that if the CEO of Miss America could apologize to Williams 30 years later, then surely the Miss San Diego pageant could do the same for her.[2]
