Shoe Zombies is the fifth issue of Series 1 of Married... with Children comic books. It was published in the United States by NOW Comics in October 1990.
Synopsis[]
Featuring Al Bundy, Peggy Bundy, Bud Bundy, Kelly Bundy, Buck (their dog).
Plot[]
When Al (and his family) discovers his job as a shoe salesman isn't providing a steady income for the Bundy's, he demands his son Bud to be the main provider for his family. Al simply states that they will eat if he earns money, or starve if he doesn't.
Shortly after, Bud meets an acquaintance at school, who lets him in on his counterfeit shoe selling company. His only request is for Bud to set up a date with his sister, Kelly. Together their company flourishes, bringing wealth to themselves and the Bundy family. Al doesn't seem upset his son has found more success as a shoe salesman than himself, despite his family mocking him for his own misfortune.
Everything seems to be going well for Bud and his acquaintance, until the authorities discover the business is fraudulent. This would ultimately cease the Bundy's new found luxurious life.

- The image on the cover appears to be from the Season 3 episode, "The Dateless Amigo". It appears to be an alternate take of Bud and Peggy listening to Al as he declares that he will go to the basement and start to work on a new invention.
