Sidney Rimhollow, or Sid, was (apparently) an angel dispatched to Al Bundy in the Season Six episode of Married with Children titled God's Shoes.
Description[]
When Al fell off the roof and hit his head, he had a vision and thought he saw God's Shoes. In reality he saw the nerdy spirit Sid's shoes. Sid invented them in life and he went broke trying to sell them. Sid's family killed Sid for life insurance. The same happened to Al, except for getting killed. Al hit his head again and had another vision were he realized who Sid was. Sid did give Al a new idea for a restaurant/shoe store. Since Al remains a lowly shoe salesman, it is presumed this also failed.
