Stacey Alden (born Ramona Lehua Reid September 9, 1962) is an American actress.
On Married... with Children, she played Fran, a woman that Al Bundy talks to while waiting to get his hair cut at a salon in the Season 3 episode, "Requiem for a Dead Barber".
Early Life[]
Lehua was born in Hawaii, and her world travelling bohemian parents named her after a Hawaiian flower. Lehua was raised by her artist father in Corpus Christi from the age of 11 when her mother passed away. At the age of 15 she moved to Carlsbad, California to live with her eccentric, wealthy grandmother, Elsa. She did not graduate from Carlsbad High School, but she began to take modeling and acting lessons. As a result, she accepted a few modeling jobs with local magazines.
She dated Britt Galland, the founder of Bubble Gum Surf wax, then in 1986 she met Ritchie Sambora, the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi. She then moved to New Jersey to live with him, but the pressures of his rising fame and demanding tour schedule took a toll on their relationship.
Acting Career[]
Consequently, after her breakup with Sambora, she moved back to Hollywood and accepted several small TV and movie during the late 1980s, using the name "Stacy Alden" . She had parts in shows and films, such as Married... with Children, Full House, and Grotesque.
Her most memorable role was in the 1987 fantasy-horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, playing Marcie, a nurse who appears in the fantasy of Joey Crusel, one of the teenagers being treated at a psychiatric hospital. She proceeds to kiss him and then take her uniform off before reveling herself to be Freddy Krueger (played by MWC guest star Robert Englund) in disguise. The demon nearly kills the teen in his dream, which also leaves him in a coma in the real world.
In 1990, she revert back to her original name of Lehua Reed and appeared in a few more television shows and films including Silk Stalkings, Betrayal of the Dove, Point of Impact, SeaQuest DSV and Fortune Hunters. She also did some modeling in the late 1980s to 1990.
She appeared in a documentary on the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise in 2010.
After several years in Hollywood, she moved to Florida and Texas. Currently, she is a member of the Houston SAG Chapter.
