The Credit Card was the seventh and final episode of the Married... with Children and Top of the Heap spin-off series, Vinnie & Bobby. Written by Eddie Gorodetsky, the episode was directed by Howard Murray. It first aired on FOX on July 11, 1992.

  • During his imaginary test drive, Vinnie tells Smilin' Jack that he is driving with actress Michelle Pfeiffer.
    • At the time this episode aired, she was starring in the 1992 film, Batman Returns, which came out a few weeks earlier in June.
  • While at the store, after seeing Bobby acting like an alien, Mona says "E.T. Go Home", in reference to the alien character from the 1982 movie, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and his line, "E.T. phone home".
  • Upon trying to filling out a credit card application, Vinnie calls Bill "Alex Trebek", in reference to the television personality best known for hosting the game show, Jeopardy.
  • After finally getting the motorcycle and naming it "Ruby" while thanking Smilin' Jack, Vinnie keeps going back and forth saying "Ruby" and "Jack", before Fred screams out "Jack Ruby! He knows who shot J.F.K.! Get him!"
    • Jack Ruby was a nightclub owner who gained national attention for shooting and killing Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy (commonly referred to as "J.F.K.") in 1963.
    • As Fred is alluding to, there are various theories that Ruby may have had a deeper connection to the assassination and knew that someone else may have killed J.F.K..
