The Larry Storch School of Acting is a vocational school that Kelly Bundy attends to improve her acting skills. It is named after is founder, actor Larry Storch.

While a physical location is not shown, the school is mentioned several times during Season 9 of Married... with Children.

Background[]

After losing her job as The Verminator, as well as a short stint appearing in a commercial for Ice Hole Beer and working as a window model at Kyoto National Bank, Kelly decides to attend the school in the hopes of getting more acting roles.

In "No Pot to Pease In", Al is upset that he is paying for Kelly's tuition among his other bills, but she reassures him that his money is not going to waste. She then tells him and Bud that with the skills she learned there, she is up for a role in a sitcom called Pease in a Pod.

In "Something Larry Comes This Way", Kelly tells her family that she has been named "Student of the Month", which includes dinner with Larry Storch as well as well an opportunity to appear on stage with him in a production of The Phantom of the Opera in front of several producers. Although Al wasn't happy about paying the school tuition, he is ecstatic upon hearing Kelly say that Larry will be coming to the house and hopes that he could get a picture with Larry hitting him over the head with his hat (a reference to Storch's character, Corporal Randolph Agarn, from the series F Troop).

Al later finds out that he and Griff have to work a "Midnight Madness Sales Event" at Gary's Shoes & Accessories for Today's Woman, while dressed as wolves. Since there are no customers, he tries to leave early, only to be stopped by their boss, Gary, during a surprise inspection. He then calls Peg to have them stop by the store on the way to the play, so he could finally get a picture of Larry hitting him over the head with his hat. To save them some time, Peg then proposes that after dinner, Bud can take Larry to Al for his photo op, while she and Kelly go to school's campus to reach "The Larry Storch Center for Performing Arts" (which turns out to be a nearby abandoned movie house that require everyone to crawl through the vents to enter)

Back at the shoe store, Gary is disappointed with the store poor sales performance, making less than $0.50. She then tells the two employees that she fully intends to turn the place around and make it profitable, while lamenting about how her first business failed due to her business partner cheating her and that she promised herself to never let another fail and get her revenge on the business partner. When Griff asks what the business was, she reveals that it was called "The Larry Storch School of Heating and Air Conditioning Repair". Just then, Larry and Bud arrive and upon seeing her former business partner, Gary punches him, knocking him out cold as she leaves the store. Knowing that this is Kelly's big night and Larry won't be able to wake up in time, Bud and Al devise a plan.

As the play begins, Kelly does her role before Al, wearing the Phantom's mask and speaking with a southern drawl, uses a set of cards to read his lines and plays "Charge" on the mini keyboard. Kelly returns and asks for the Phantom to take his mask off, but Al refuses, eventually leading to a fight and Al losing his pants (revealing his wolf costume). He finally makes it to the emergency exit, which causes the alarms to go off and the majority of attendees being arrested. While back at the Bundy residence, Kelly tells Al that she appreciated that he went out of his way to fill in for Larry.

At the end of the episode, Griff was able to make some money by convincing a hoard of female fans to pay him $20 so they could get their picture taken next to the unconscious Larry. As Larry starts to regain consciousness, Griff hits him over the head with a shoe, knocking him out again and allowing Griff to continue making money off of him.

In "Pump Fiction", Kelly tells the family that she has an assignment, where she has to make a short film. She tells her family that Larry gave her the assignment to help her understand about working in front of and behind the camera, but she can't film anything until she has an ideas and tries to solicit ideas from her family. At the same time, Al is struggling to find a way to get on the cover of Shoe News, after seeing his old co-worker, Luke Ventura appear in it. After the father and daughter duo struggle to figure how to achieve their individual goals, they eventually team up and work on the film, Sheos.

While waiting for the film to be edited, Peggy tells Marcy and Jefferson that Kelly needs to pass this assignment to move up to the next level, which is called "Acting from the Waist Up". They edit the film down from 8 hours to 3 and a half minutes and submit it into a film festival. Upon winning, the duo set out to make a second film, titled A Day in the Life of a Shoe Salesman.
