Married with Children Wiki

"The Masculine Feminist" was a (parody) TV talk show hosted by Jerry Springer, who makes a guest appearance in the Season 8 episode of Married... with Children titled "NO MA'AM".

The show was strictly devoted to women's issues, and the advancement of a pro-feminist agenda; it aroused the ire of Al and his buddies so much that it prompted them to create their anti-feminist organization, NO MA'AM (The National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood).

Peggy Bundy and Marcy D'Arcy arrive at the Bundy Residence to watch the show, claiming it is their favorite new talk show. Upon his introduction, Springer tells the females viewers that he is proud to be living in their world and then apologizes "on behalf of all men for the way Burt has mistreated Loni". He continues on, asking when will men realize that women are a precious natural resource. Marcy then tells Bud Bundy and Kelly Bundy that Jerry recently helped women in their area out by calling out Jim's Bowl-A-Rama for not having "Women's Night". This led to Marcy and her feminist group staging a "Bloat In" until the bowling alley relented and forced another group to lose their night on Thursday.

Right after Marcy finishes her explanation, a battered Al Bundy arrives home, revealing that his regular Thursday night bowling with his friends was now replaced with a Women's Bowling Night. After finding out who was responsible, he calls the show and tells Jerry that bowling is a man's sport. Jerry asks if Al is calling from 1952, and Al tells him that he wishes he was because "Ike was in the White House, women were in the kitchen, and you were in the closet!". He then promises that men will be bowling the following week before Jerry hangs up on him.

The following week, the men do go bowling, but are doing it inside Al's garage with a cheap plastic set of pins and ball. Out of frustration, they try to think of something they can do, before eventually going to the nudie bar. Unfortunately, after noticing some differences, they eventually find out that the nudie bar had been turned into a coffee house.

After seeing what they once loved now being taken away from them by Jerry and feminists women like Marcy, the men decide to take action and form a group called "NO MA'AM". One of their first actions was to take the talk show host hostage, and issue a series of demands on the air. Then, they proceed to warn the viewers that if their demands are not met, Jerry (who is tied up and gagged, with a sign that reads "OVULATES" on his lap) will experience the first "Sexorcism" performed on live television. Jeffeson explains that the ritual will consist of making Jerry watch hours of pro-wrestling in a stinky, yellowed undershirt and a pair of boxers that read "IT'S ALL ME".

To show that NO MA'AM is not completely anti-woman, Al reveals what their ideal working woman would be, a ditzy stripper named Bubbles Double Dee. It was during this time that the group had their first encounter with the club's chief nemesis Marcy D'Arcy, who had them arrested for their crimes. Although Officer Dan eventually arrests Al and his friends, after seeing that it was "The Masculine Feminist" that was tied up and held hostage, Dan then orders his fellow officers to tie Jerry back up, telling Al that he also hates Jerry.
