The Three Habibs are a trio of minor and one time only characters seen in the Season 7 episode "'Tis Time to Smell the Roses". They are a trio of foreign men (presumably of Indian descent) who, despite not being related in any manner, all share the same name, Habib. They work at Homeplate Athletic Shoes.

Biography[]

They are a trio of Indian men who have been working as shoe salesmen for some time. As they all share the same name, they can only talk to each other by pointing at the Habib they intend to speak to, ex: If Habib #1 wants to speak to Habib #2, #1 will point at #2 so that #2 will know he wants to talk to him, and #3 knows that #1 doesn't want to talk to him (3).

Al Bundy was forced to work with them when he was hired at Homeplate Athletic Shoes. The three Habibs then inform Al that they have been saving up money and plan to buy the store at some point. But he scoffs at their idea, saying that there is no money to be made selling shoes, and that he had been selling shoes since "...you guys were just a gleam in a New York taxi cab driver's eyes". He suggest that they would be better off playing the lottery instead.

Although Al is the newest employee there, the manager is called away on business (saying that his regular prostitute is out of jail) and gives Al the whistle, effectively making him the manager. After proudly boasting that the manager's mistrust in foreigners has led to something that Al has dreamt of, he gets the Habibs to join him in a huddle and has them run zones, making Habib #1 cover running shoes, Habib #2 cover cross trainers and Habib #3 cover a hot dog with mustard and bring it back to Al.

The trio celebrating their win

After being inspired by serving as the manager, he tells his family to give him the last of his retirement money so he can buy the store. But after waking up late and missing out on the deal, he ends up buying lottery tickets instead. As he and the family think they might have a chance of winning, it is revealed that the three Habibs won the $60 million dollar prize.
