William Madans Utay (born September 7, 1947) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles on Night Court and Days of Our Lives.
He appeared on Married... with Children twice, as the bum in "The Poker Game" and as Dean Marquand in "Bud Hits the Books".
Biography[]
Utay made his on-screen acting debut in 1982 as The Butler in an episode of Filthy Rich. In 1985, he landed the role of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf on Days of Our Lives, which he played until 2021.
His other well known role was on the NBC sitcom, Night Court, where he played twin brothers Will and Phil Sanders from 1984 to 1992.
Over the years he has also appeared in other TV shows and movies such as Who's the Boss?, Seinfeld, L.A. Law, The Drew Carey Show, Silk Stalkings and Modern Family.[1]
When not working, William and his wife Susan enjoy photography.[2]
